Watanabe sensei is a great teacher, I've known him for well over a year now and his classes are always great. He is a kind and patient man with a good sense of humor. He always tries his best to explain the grammar and vocab and is very patient with my endless barrage of questions about things I’ve learned or heard in a J-Drama.
The lessons are split with some time to discuss various topics about Japan and Japanese culture, like Obon matsuri, anime, sakura season, recent news etc… but also work out of a book, in my case minna no nihongo. I like this style alot, it gives me the chance to try out what I've learned in a natural way! while still also having some structure, a great combi in my opinion.
To summarize, I’ve been enjoying my lessons with Watanabe sensei for quite a while now and will continue to follow them, seriously give his lessons a try!
Watanabe sensei is een geweldige leraar. Ik ken hem nu langer dan een jaar en blijf z’n lessen leuk vinden. Hij is een aardige man met humor en geduld. Geduldig genoeg om in ieder geval mijn eeuwige vragen over grammatica en nieuwe woorden die ik tegenkwam in een J-Drama te beantwoorden. Sowieso neemt hij altijd de tijd om de grammatica rustig uit te leggen als ik iets nieuws leer.
De lessen zijn verdeeld in twee delen, we spenderen altijd eerst wat tijd over verschillende onderwerpen omtrent Japan en Japanse cultuur zoals, het Obon festival, anime, sakura seizoen, wat er laatst in het nieuws was etc… maar we werken daarna ook uit een boek. In mijn geval Minna no nihongo. Ik vind deze stijl echt top, ik heb de kans m’n Japans te gebruiken in een echt gesprek maar heb ook gewoon de gestructureerde lessen. Een mooie combi als je het mij vraagt!
Samengevat, Ik heb al een geruime tijd les gehad van Watanabe sensei en ik blijf ze graag volgen, probeer z’n lessen vooral eens uit!
